Trivia question about no-hitters. This should be easy for true baseball trivia buffs.?

Who is the only pitcher in MLB to throw a perfect game and face only 26-batters. Without going overboard give a few details.Trivia question about no-hitters. This should be easy for true baseball trivia buffs.?
Ernie Shore for the Red Sox after Babe Ruth the starting pitcher was ejected for arguing the call after walking the first batter....which got thrown out at 2nd and then Shore pitched a perfect game the rest of the way!!!Trivia question about no-hitters. This should be easy for true baseball trivia buffs.?
Ernie Shore faced only 26 batters in his no-hit game. But I think they removed the perfect game designation some years ago, because there was a baserunner in the game that reached on a walk by starter Babe Ruth.
If you're talking about the Babe Ruth/Ernie Shore game, it isn't a perfect game, it's a combined no-hitter.

If you mean another game, it's still not a perfect game.

.
According to Major League Baseball's current official rules at: http://www.mlb.com/mlb/official_info/abo鈥?/a>

it hasn't been done. Here's the rule:

';Perfect games and No-hitters:

An official perfect game occurs when a pitcher (or pitchers) retires each batter on the opposing team during the entire course of a game, which consists of at least nine innings. In a perfect game, no batter reaches any base during the course of the game.';

A leadoff walk later retired does not a perfect game make...
