If you're thinking of some big machine that sharpens a Christmas tree like a pencil, then false. That sure brings a comical image to mind! 8^)
But they do shape their trees with hedge trimmers. If you look at the trees on the lot you can see that. From a distance they look like perfect cones, which is a very unnatural shape for a tree. if you look up close you can see the ends of twigs that have been cut.
That would be false.The trees we use for Christmas trees have a natural habit of growing upward and the taller the narrower.But they do trim them to keep the shape some but not drastic,at least a year before they are cut.
