Atlas -

The name Atlas was given to the team, because it came from Greek mythology. Like I said before Atlas players were educated rich kids who studied in Europe, the name Atlas represents the Titan who was forced by Zeus to bear the sky on his shoulders. I like the way the names was picked by the owner

Atlante -Atlante was founded in April 18th, 1916 with the name Sinaloa by a group of young Mexican football enthusiasts, led by Refugio ';El Vaquero'; Martínez. The team began playing at La Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City. After changing its name to Lusitania and U-53, Refugio Martínez proposed the name Atlante, after the mighty battles fought at the Atlantic ocean during the World War I

Necaxa -Necaxa was founded August 21, 1923, its early history begins with it owner W.H Frazer, an Englishman, an engineer and owner of the Light and Power company with in a region of Puebla on the outskirts of Mexico City's built infrastructure. W.H Frazer, as a student was a devoted football player in the United Kingdom and was a strong advocate for the sport. W.H Frazer economically supports the newly founded team with company revenue and funds. In addition, the Light and Power Company under W.H Frazer offered steady employment to players in an era where half of the players were playing in an amature level(players had other jobs other than playing Football) and not exclusively at a professional level. Because the local Power Company was at close approximation to a local River, the name, Necaxa was taken in honor of the local river within the region. In that era the Team were called The “Los Electricistas';, or,“The Electricians”, ';Los rojiblancos'; or ';The White and Reds';, Necaxa was very successful in the early days of the Mexican Football league, winning championships spanning from 1932-33, 1934-35, 1936-37, and 1937-38 seasons.
